Please pray
My friend of 22 years, Jennifer, is having surgery on her lung this morning to remove the poison that has filled and surrounded her lung since her appendix ruptured over two weeks ago. Please lift her up in prayer, this is a very painful surgery and recovery. She will be in ICU for several days and if all goes well in the hospital for at least 7 to 10 days.

Hi there! Glad to find your blog. Hope your friends surgery went really well and she is on a quick path to recovery.
Oh my gosh, I hope this isn't the same lung surgery I had last year. Thorachotomy. It is worse than open heart surgery in terms of pain. I can TOTALLY attest to that too. I still face residual pain daily, but compared to the chest tubes post op, the daily pain is like a finger prick. Please keep us updated on your friends progress.I will be praying for her. I was in ICU 2 days post up, hopefully she will be able to forego that little experience.

How did her surgery go? More important how is the recovery coming along?
