Early Risers!

Today started at 4:30 a.m. when Noah woke up soaked after an unsuccessful try at potty training last night. I am very proud of him that he made it to 4:30 a.m., that is longest he has gone at night. Anyway, after changing him and his sheets, I noticed our older dog Whittie needed to go outside. So, I felt like Brian should get in on the act and let her out. At the same time Camden must have been feeling left out because he was up illuminating half the house with his bedroom light and making his presence know with LOUD babbling.

Why is it that mom's do all the work?.... I got Noah back to bed and went to find Brian already asleep, or doing a good imitation of it anyway, when I noticed Whittie sitting outside in the grass with the sprinklers running. Now, I had a cold wet dog to deal with and a very happy baby in the other room with no hope of returning to sleep.

It's now 9:30 am and we are going strong, we will see how long this lasts.

Girl, I'm so with you on mama doing most the work. Last two nights I've been up at least twice with Luke while fidgeted around in bed and even in bed with me in the guest bedroom. While Jason slept peacefully through the entire 3 hr. ordeal. Our job is truly the hardest on earth. I want a raise! Wink.
