Trimming the Tree

Noah has been asking since August "when is it going to be Christmas?" Every day we would go through the list of holidays and birthdays that we needed to celebrate before we got to Christmas. The last holiday being Thanksgiving. Well, at 7:03 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving, as I was lying in bed sleeping, I could feel someone staring at me. I opened my eyes and there was Noah staring at me and the only thing he said was "Mommy, is it Christmas now? Can we decorate the tree?" How can you tell a child no! So, on Friday, the tree was trimmed.

Daddy, Noah & Camden all helped, while mommy layed on the couch, sick and supervised. They did a great job! The only thing we didn't factor in was how Camden would react to the tree. He thinks it is a giant play toy. He likes to take the ornaments off, so we put a nice train around the tree to distract him. Well, he likes to see how far he can throw the train and drive his brother crazy. So, we put a wooden train around the tree just for Camden to play with. That didn't help either. He decided he wants to unplug and plug the lights from the outlet. His latest is when he throws the ball for the dogs it gets thrown into the tree. We have 25 more days to Christmas and I'm not sure if the tree is going to make it.

Aloha!
I LOVE it! Love it all. I hope the tree makes it through the season. I hope YOU and BRIAN make it through the season. I love Noah standing by the bed and asking about Christmas. How cute!! And Camden is cute plugging and unplugging the tree. I can't wait to be there. Only 25 more days! Love you all (and hope you are better, Sharon. You need your strength). Love,Tutu

Hensons---I love the picture of tree trimming. The story of Noah at your bed. Kids are so innocent. Guess what ornaments we're putting on the tree this year. Paper snowflakes we're cutting out of white paper. My friend gave me the idea. I thought it was pretty cool. That way when Luke pulls them off it won't matter and nothing to break. Sharon--hope you're feeling better soon. Brian--How does one add music to their blog...Give it to the guy with the music degree to figure that one out right off the bat. So glad ya'll are bloggin now.

About the music, Brian followed somenone instructions on their blog. I will have him tell you about it when he gets here. Funny, we can figure out the hard stuff, but posting all on one page is proving difficult for me.
